How do I turn off my liftgate on my Nissan Rogue?
The power lift gate operation can be turned on or off by the power lift gate main switch on the instrument panel. When the power lift gate main switch is pushed to the “OFF” position, the power operation is not available by the power lift gate switch on the lift gate and lift gate opener switch.
Why is the tailgate not closing on my 2009 ML320?
The boot/tailgate of my 2009, ML320 CDI will no longer close automatically. It opens correctly by remote key, switch near drivers door and by operating the boot handle. However it won’t close. Any suggestions?

In fact this is only the latch that isn’t closing, and isn’t making noise (So isn’t trying to close when the door is in a closed position, ready to be locked…). So the tailgate can open at everytime when driving, and that’s annoying, also because the tailgate isn’t closing when i close all doors with my key….

Is it dangerous to drive with a tailgate open?
Tailgate opens while driving at both city street speeds and highway speeds. Allowing items in bed to fall out on road creating road hazard. This is more than an inconvenience it is dangerous and someone is going to killed. Do something about this. Please.
