How do I program my 2016 Jeep Cherokee key fob?

Why is there no key in my Jeep?
Right after we closed the doors they ignition viewer said “NO KEY IN VEHICLE” and disabled the Jeep. What to do if your Jeep FOB doesn’t work?
First thing to try is to change out the batteries in the key fobs. And when doing so make sure there’s no corrosion or pocket lint on the battery contacts. You don’t mention the mileage but those key fobs can get pretty dirty inside over time. If that don’t work then its unfortunately a trip to the local Jeep dealership.
