How do I increase the volume on an incoming call?
Setting the incoming call volume
- Open the Settings app.
- Choose Sound.
- Set the phone’s ringer volume by touching Volumes or Volume.
- Manipulate the Ringtone slider left or right to specify how loud the phone rings for an incoming call.

Try pressing the middle of your volume up and down button, then hit the volume up button. It worked on my phone because I was having the same problem. Same exact problem and nothing is working . Tried everything mentioned… I think it was the safe volume feature would do that.. I hate it lol My Samsung Galaxy Rush has this same problem.
