I own a 2003 CRV. Currently I have 15×6 wheels with 205-70-15 tires. I’d like to go to a 16×7 with 225-60-16 tires. Does anyone have this setup and if so any pictures?

Click to expand… w/ the 225/55r17s on 17×7 wheels w/ 55 offset i had no rubbing w/ the lowered setup (dropped 30mm) even when i took the V offroad at Pismo Beach and at Soggy Lake (desert), so i don’t think it would rub w/ stock height and 40 offset. but that is my opinion, i haven’t tried it and my Eibach/Koni setup is not adjustable for height.

How big of a rim do you need for a 2003 CRV?

2003 and 2004 CR-V’s had 6 inch wide rims, not sure about the offset. I have ordered 225/70/15 tires for my wife’s 03, I don’t foresee any problems. That is the widest tire that is approved for a 6 inch wide rim. I will get a little more height but more importantly width of tires.
