Does my 2006 B6 V6 3.2 4-motion VW Passat have a timing belt that needs to be replaced at 90,000k? (as stated in the car service manual)? Or does my car have a timing chain and does not need to be replaced? A mechanic told me my car has a timing chain but the car’s service manual says “Replace Toothed Belt at 90,000k for V6 Passat”.
