For a few years now Cataract Falls occasionally gets recommended on ‘Only In Indiana’ on my FB, and seeing it’s not far from our family in Indiana’s home we knew we had to go! We arrived on a weekday morning and to my surprise it’s a state park and they charge $7. for residents and I believe it was $10. for out of state.
What to bring to Cataract Falls for hiking?
Even though there’s a lot of signs to not get close to the water, many people do (and that’s what makes it fun!) Bring your good camera (you’ll regret it if you don’t), a picnic lunch (plenty of picnic tables) & long pants (it’s easy but fun to get off the beaten path here).
