Can you do a walk in appointment for Global Entry?
These Global Entry Enrollment Centers accept walk-ins. However, you might have to wait — sometimes only minutes and other times hours — there’s no guarantee you will be seen at all.
Does TSA Accept Global Entry ID?
Even if you have a TSA PreCheck or a Clear membership, you will need a Real ID-compliant form of identification to make it past airport security. A Global Entry card is considered Real ID–compliant and will be accepted under the new rules.
Do you get fingerprinted for Global Entry?
Members enter the United States through automatic kiosks at select airports. At airports, program members proceed to Global Entry kiosks, present their machine-readable passport or U.S. permanent resident card, place their fingerprints on the scanner for fingerprint verification and complete a customs declaration.

If your country has a bilateral trusted traveler arrangement with CBP, you may participate in Global Entry provided you are not entering the U.S. under one of the following visa categories: C-1 – Non-citizens in Transit C-2 – Non-citizens in transit to United Nations C-3 – Foreign Government Official in transit
What to expect at a Global Entry interview?
Once we review your application, you will be contacted to schedule an interview at one of the Global Entry Enrollment Centers. At the interview a CBP officer will: collect biometric information, for example, scan your fingerprints.
