Where is the horn button on a late model car?
Every late-model car has an airbag camped in the middle of the steering wheel. This airbag, if improperly handled, can expand with lethal force. Even the static from dragging your clothing across the seat can set it off. And the horn button (or buttons) is generally attached to the top of the airbag shroud.

Why are my horn and steering wheel controls not working?
After about a week of no horn and no steering wheel controls, my airbag fault light also went on. I bit the bullet and went to a local service center (VolksWerks in Falls Church, VA). The service manager and technicians were awesome and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem: a damaged clockspring (they called it a “spiral spring”).

Why is the horn not working on my Rubicon?
I have a 2018 Rubicon Recon. Problems started probably within the first 3 months of owning the Jeep. I noticed that the Horn would not function, then I noticed that the steering wheel radio buttons would not function (volume, station channel) also the Uconnect buttons would not work, dash menu buttons (speedometer, tire pressure etc switch).
