As car manufacturers have chased longer oil change intervals (2 years/20,000 miles), the quality of the oil and filter have become much more important. I’d rather stick with annual/10,000 mile oil changes. Even if that means more dealer visits.
What kind of oil filter does Kia Sportage 2.0 use?
I usually use Mann filters,not sure if they cause any extra noise in our Sportage 2.0 crdi since it sounds a bit like a tractor anyway . But certainly Mann filters in other (quieter) engines have not caused any worrying noises.
Is it safe to use the same oil filter twice?

If you practice extended drain intervals using synthetic oil, however, a conventional oil filter may not offer the required service life, meaning you’ll have to change it in the middle of the oil drain interval, which is inconvenient.
