Do you have to use a Sorry card in Sorry?
If you land on a space occupied by a partner’s pawn, bump it back to its START! SORRY cards must be used. If there’s no one else to pick on, this means you might send your own or your partner’s piece back!
What happens if you get a Sorry card?
A Sorry! card cannot be used on an opponent’s pawn in a Safety Zone. If there are no pawns on the player’s Start, or no opponent’s pawns on any space that can be moved to, the turn is forfeited.
What happens when you land on a slide in Sorry?
Slide. Any time you land by exact count on the triangle at the beginning of a slide that shows your color, slide ahead to the end and bump any pawns in your way − including your own! − back to their own start areas. If you land on a slide that does not show your color, don’t slide, just stay put on the triangle.

Game. This Sorry game includes special fire and ice power-up tokens that give your pawns more powers against other players. If you’re lucky enough to get the ice token, your pawn can’t be bumped or sent back, and the fire token lets you bring an extra pawn into your home space on the board.

Safety Zones look like Slide Zones, but they are larger. Only you may enter your Safety Zone. All normal rules apply. Note, you can’t move backwards into your safety zone, though you can exit a safety zone with a backwards move card.

If you land on a SLIDE of your own color, don’t slide, just stay put on the triangle. Safety Zone: Only you may enter your own color SAFETY ZONE.
Can you have two pawns on the same spot in Sorry?
You may jump over a pawn (yours or an opponents) that is in your path if you have sufficient movement points. However, two pawns can’t occupy the same spot on the board, so if you land on a space that contains another pawn, bump it back to it’s “START” space.
What does the diamond mean on a Sorry board?
The diamond was added in Sorry to make it clearer that there was a barrier and that you could not move forward across your own diamond, although the rules did specify that you could move backwards over it.
