Do ticket points transfer from state to state?
When you change your residency from one member state to another, your points will follow you if the new state has a points system. You may not end up with an identical amount of points, however.
Do all tickets give you points?
Alberta uses a demerit point system. Under the Traffic Safety Act, fully licensed drivers are allowed to accumulate up to 15 points before their licence is suspended. Not all traffic tickets are subject to demerits.
