I do notice the picture on the alpine site has only a hazard and clock , where as the 2019+ Sahara has a row of buttons including phone control.

We have just purchased a 2017 Landcruiser Sahara in excellent condition . The navigation system does not work at all well and keeps getting lost . Just can’t seem to keep tracking its own location and sometimes ends up in the ocean. Surely this can’t be normal for an expensive off road vehicle .

Money no object, I’d have got an iCom, but this was nearly half the price…and supposedly a lot easier to use; the newer version of the Uniden has the better scanner as it picks up the unencrypted emergency channels IIRC. The remote speaker mike looks the way to go.
