In the case of Honda here is a possible fix that others have used – and I would definitely consider if I ever buy another Honda (after my 2018 CRV which is on its 3rd windshield, has moderate oil dilution and has had cascading sensor failures twice). Permanently disable Auto Stop Start!

When to turn off auto stop on Honda CRV?
It is automatically reset after each ignition cycle. You can turn it off when you start the vehicle up but unfortunately there is no permanent on/off switch for this system. My goal is to earn a 5 star rating experience. Do you have any questions? Please feel free to reply back to me.
