Can you jump start twice?
Jerry Hirschinger, Shadetree mechanic for over 50 years. If your Alternator is not charging the battery properly, then the only way to get more power into the battery is to leave it connected to the jump-start vehicle for a long time before you try starting your car. Jumping it twice will not help.
