Click to expand… woulda been, unless they claim debris/etc hit, so he must have been +36 months from in-service date…. The cooling system should be under 18PSI pressure, any leak would cause you to lose coolant pretty darn quickly and you would notice the loss of coolant.

Why is there no coolant smell in my car?
There is no coolant smell in the cabin. No abnormal puddles under the car. The only things I can think of are: the radiator is leaking and I don’t see it; or, the reservoir vent hose is just letting some smells out.

Open the hood and check the hoses and clamps also. Ed B. Nope you got a leak, it may be small but you have one. Just hope its not a head gasket/intake gasket. my advice is to get some ultravilot dye and poor it in, drive around a few days and with an ultra vilot light you should be able to see the leak… If not you then a Mechanic…
