Replacing the damaged portions of the frame will cost well over the price of the vehicle. If the subframe did not have to be replaced, the frame would likely hold for some time and not require replacement in the near future.
What’s the problem with my 2007 Elantra theft alarm?
2007 Elantra and my problem… 2007 Elantra and my problem is that the theft alarm goes off without trying to get into car, trunk, or hood. When the alarm is deactivated by putting the key in the ignition for 30sec, as the manual says, a short time later – the horns and lights are going off again. thoughts? Show More Show Less
