Are short boards good for small waves?
Finding a small wave shortboard tends to be more difficult because shortboards aren’t usually designed for small waves. Generally, shortboards are designed to perform well when the waves are bigger and more powerful.
How do you get waves on a small board?

- Bring your back foot on the tail pad in the “Chicken Wing position”.
- Push up using your back foot and your hands.

Can you use a gun surfboard in small waves?
