It took me about 2 hours total. Before my Jeep, I drove a 2003 Toyota Tacoma and at around every 60,000 miles, it would start to run a little rough so I would know that it was time to change the plugs. The plugs were pretty worn but they probably could have gone a little longer.

If trans was exceptionally dirty and yours has a drain plug, I recommend that you use a generic oil on the first change, then in a week, drain oil again and re-fill with good brand name stuff. and perhaps a bottle of lucas conditioner. The 3.6 pentastar is a lot different from my LA318 from ’69. The computer will tell you if the coil packs or spark plugs are not functioning within specs. So 100k is the maintenance interval. I never thought about changing the plugs in my 09 but when I did at 102K, I also had the cables replaced as well (3.8, no coil packs over the plugs).
