Why does my battery charger relay keep clicking?
The relay coil gets just enough juice to pull the switch shut, but can’t maintain it and the relay clicks back off. Rinse and repeat. If the relay (s) keep clicking, the battery is probably not charging or there is otherwise a power delivery issue (bad cable to fusebox).
What causes a control relay to ” stick “?
When excessive amperage has been drawn through a relay circuit it can cause the relay contacts to “stick” not allowing the power to be shut off to the accessory. Example: When an ABS system motor ages it will draw excessive amperage causing the control relay to “stick”.
Why does a BCM keep clicking a relay?
E.g. a BCM or other interior module is trying to manage basic functions like door locks, keyless/alarm stuff or whatnot. It cannot complete its task, but has just enough voltage to power up and keep trying, hence clicking relays. First check ‘open circuit voltage,’ which simply means see what you’re reading at the batt terminals while disconnected.
Why does my bike keep clicking the start button?
Took the battery to local auto parts store and checked out just fine with good charge. Put battery back in and hit start same click sound. After repeatedly clicking the start button I tracked the sound to the starter relay. Well with one hand moving the relay around and one pushing the start button bike would start up.

Why is the trigger circuit on my relay not working?
If so the trigger circuit of the relay electrical system is working, if not continue to next step. ( Note: If the relay clicks and the circuit is still not working there is a good chance the contacts inside the relay have shorted.)
