Hi has anyone any ideas. I have Jag xf 09 2.7 d luxury. When starting park brake fault comes up with the wording unable to use park brake. Took it to garage they have had a look and said a load of codes have come up and it will be a process of elimination which will probably become quite expensive.

How do you change the parking brake on a Jaguar?
To recalibrate it disconnect your battery and leave for 10 Min’s. then reconnect and with the ignition on apply the foot brake and whilst keeping applied switch the parking brake on. then release the foot brake turn ignition off – on and the handbrake fault message should be gone and the parking brake should release as you drive off.
