Why are the wing mirrors not folding in?
New member on here having just bought my first Jaguar – a lovely 2013 Premium Luxury XF. Just about worked out most of the gadgets with one niggly exception – I can manually fold and unfold the wing mirrors using the two buttons in the car but the auto fold is not working at all. The settings are set to ON before anyone asks!

Where is the sensor on a wing mirror?
The sensor plugs in one side of the mirror and the other end is clipped to the bottom of the mirror, with the wire running behind the mirror glass positioning gubbins. I can unclip the sensor and unplug the plug, but cannot fathom how to dismantle the mirror to remove and reinstall the entire thing. I’ve gotten as far as:
