When does Jaguar XFS go into restricted performance?
Driving home last night and decided to enjoy the benefits of my XFS………………..after about 35 miles it decided to go into ‘RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE’ mode. Still would run at 70 – 80 mph but just very little acceleration. Pulled over and tried turning off and back on but no luck and the same when I got home 5 miles further on.
Why does my Jaguar go into restricted performance?
It went into Restricted Performance almost every time I went out in it over a period of several weeks, the French dealer it was recovered to diagnosed a faulty turbo actuator but couldn’t do anything before I was due to leave for the UK.

First and foremost, always use an OBD scanner to run diagnostics when you get the Restricted Performance message. If you’re a “do-it-yourselfer” but don’t own a scanner, you can go to any local auto parts supply store and use theirs. If you prefer to take the car into a Jaguar specialized mechanic, they have a diagnostic scanner.
Is it safe to go over 30 km / h on electric scooter?
