My XFR is playing about when cold. The rev counter sometimes drops below zero when starting. It then vibrates for a couple of seconds before jumping to the nornal running position. Also when cold and the car is coasting down hill at say 40mph the rev counter will be on tick over only, say 700rpm and will not move up until the throttle is pressed.
