Which is better the Jaguar XJ6 or the XJ8?
The body styles are nearly identical, the XJ6’s will be cheaper, interiors almost the same (I prefer the XJ6 interior design to the XJ8 actually). The XJ8’s will come with more standard equipment, but any Jag buyer would load it to the gills anyway. We got our XJ6 used, as you will, and it had the “Select Jaguar Warranty” I think it’s called.

How to fix Passenger seat recline issue on Jaguar XK / XKR ( X150 ) by Mangoose SDD? Let’s start with my car models and issues: I have Jaguar XK / XKR ( X150 ), my passenger seat will back will not sit up correctly. It appears to only travel about 1/3 of the driver, leaving the seat and passenger leaning back very far.
Is it best to take the seat out of a Jaguar?
Best to take the seat out as you will then be able to check the sensors are correctly aligned for the seatback issue.

How does the back seat on a Jaguar XJ6 work?
Assembly of the back onto the seat is very easy; not so easy to get off. Just two posidrive screws at the bottom; two clever clips to disengage each side near the bottom (press the back in whilst pulling the side of the back outwards) and two fir-tree clips at the very top.

Seat back at 90 degrees to seat base. Flip onto outer edge then lead with front of seat so it comes out of the front door on it’s side. Whilst the seat is out of the car, check the seat bracket at the rear which takes much of the load of the seats.
