What makes an engine noisy after an oil change?
I recently had an oil change on my old smoker (Honda Legend 2001 3.5 V6)with a fully synthetic oil and genuine Honda oil filter. First change I put in some valvoline 5w40 fully synthetic oil and changed the oil filter for an OEM one. After this I found the engine noisy on start up in particular.

Is it OK to run 30 wt oil on Dodge Challenger?
My wife’s 16 Challenger is super quiet and smooth on Redline 5W-30 as well . Obviously neither have any mds issues as this BS has been proven many times it’s not an issue to run a 30 wt oil in these engines . Many folks including myself have ran 40 wt oil with zero MDS issues .
