Every now and then especially after a long run my engine managment light comes on and i get the message ” cruise control not available ” which is odd because its not even fitted !! after a few miles the message disappears but the EML stay on for 3 hot – cold cycles and then its normal running until i go on a long run.

Agree with goudys post (from buck) as i got the cruise not available message on my last x type (it did have cruise, and funnily enough it still worked!!) Sometimes would not allow me to rev over 3k.
