There are 2 bonnet latches mounted on the slam panel and I established that the bonnet micro-switch is located directly under the right hand latch (as you are standing in front of the car looking towards the engine).

What to do if the bonnet is not catching on one side?

If the bonnet isn’t catching on one side you should be able to pull it up very slightly to check if it is latched or not. Check the bump stops are not to high and not letting it catch properly and then give it a proper slam never press bonnet to try and close it.
