If i unlock the car, with one or two clicks, then place the keys away from the car, all doors will open apart from the drivers door! When the fault first showed, this was exactly the same BUT the drivers door would open and not the passenger door! But if i hold the keys in my hand, I.E. use key-less entry, the doors all open!

Why does my car lock when I try to lock the door?

When “locking” the car with either the fob or the door buttons the door mirrors also stay folded out. The door locks clunk and all are secure except the driver’s. This opens when it shouldn’t but immediately activates the alarm if you try. Is this a broken lock motor of some kind?
