Take off the plastic sill covers, held on with a few plastic clips. Some will break but they are easily obtained from Jag spares shops. Also remove the plastic undertrays to give easy access to the inside edge of the sills. My 2004 car had 1lb !!!!!!!! of dirt and old leaves inside the covers and under trays.
