How to release the park brake on a Jaguar?
I pulled the cover around the auto selector (remove ash tray and gently prize up with your fingers from the edge nearest the radio) and twisted the small plastic dowel 90 degrees (on the left side of the selector mounting). This released it from Park so I could get home.

When did the transmission die on my Jaguar?
