Why is my Bluetooth not working on my 2011 XFR?
I have a 2011 XFR. While car was running my trip computer started rebooting and then my Bluetooth phone could not be detected.. If I fully powered down the vehicle sometimes when the car would restart my phone would be detected and work.
Why did I replace my Bluetooth module on my Jaguar X250?
Check for any signs of water ingress whilst under there. I replaced a bluetooth module on an early x250 due to sever water damage last year. Poor sealant around the windscreen can often lead to the green rot of doom if any water got at that 12v/gnd connections.

XF’s are very finicky about battery condition anyway, the fact the car went into lock-down like that could have been due to the battery or me confusing the car or both not sure or in what order but I’ve had no such problems since.

Can a Jaguar X150 fit a later Bluetooth module?
Someone on the “other” forum did some research and found the part numbers for the bluetooth module over the years the X150 was in production, that thread can be found here (click). I won’t regurgitate it but the bottom line is the later ones do seem to work in earlier cars; certainly I was able to use the latest one in my 2008 XKR.

How to fix Bluetooth device connection when paired. 1 Open Settings. 2 Click on Devices. 3 Click on Bluetooth. 4 Select the device. If the device is in use, it would show as Connected, otherwise the status will show as Paired. In the case, the Bluetooth device 5 Click the Remove device button. 6 Click Yes to confirm to complete the task.
Is there a Bluetooth module for the X150 XK?
Modules for the X150 XK, X250 XF and L359 LR2/Freelander2 can be done on an exchange basis. Modules for the L319/L320/L322 Disco/RRS/FFRR need to be done in the car. If anyone wants an updated module, send me a PM.
