Where is the TPMS button on Jaguar XF?
Locate the tire pressure monitor reset button beneath the steering wheel. Hold the TPMS reset button until the tire pressure light blinks 3 times, then release. Inflate all tires to 3 PSI over the recommended amount, then deflate them completely.
How to fix TPMS fault on a Jaguar XF?
Take the fuse out (don’t know which it is for the XJ but it’s no. 33 in the boot fuse box for the XF), cycle the ignition (the warning will stay on with the fuse out). Then replace the fuse and the warning should have cleared next time the ignition is turned on. Ok I will give that a go… time to break out the manual!
Why do I get a TPMS failure message?
From mechanical to manual, there are some common reasons for receiving TPMS failure message. These could be drained or defective TPMS sensors which have been run out of their 10 years long good life so you can check the tires for their TPMS sensors and replacing them one by one to identify and fix the faulty one.
Do you need TPMs on a 2014 XF saloon?
Edit: I should probably add, this is for a 2014 XF saloon. Someone need to confirm as I don’t have TPMS option but I remember reading that they will be automatically recognized after a while without any other intervention. No sense opening up a new thread since there’s already one going.
Do you have to reset the TPMS after a tire change?
You may not know that you have to reset the TPMS after the wheel change, and if your car was never equipped with these tires before, you need to program the sensors to your car. If the tire pressure sensor fault message appeared after the tire change – you might need to program the sensors.
