Why is my Jaguar XF not unlocking?
If you can, try to Unlock your XF on the Nearside of the car. Do this for a period of days in order to see if it fails to Unlock the car. If the car fails to Unlock from the Nearside also, then it is either the Key or the XF’s Unlocking Module .If it is the Unlocking Module this will probably mean a trip to a Jaguar Dealer.

How to stop the S type security sounder?
It can be stopped by unlocking the car with the remote keyfob but once relocked it sounds again within 30 mins. If left beeping, it stops for a short period then begins again. It can be fine for a few weeks, then it starts again. I am informed that this could be the alarm sounder backup.

What kind of noise does a Jaguar make?
The car came with the usual Jaguar perks including a 2 year warranty. However, on the drive home I noticed a strange noise which occurs after about 50mph. I’d describe is as a humming/buzzing noise and it seems to come from the rear of the car. The noise does not go away unless the speed drops below 50mph.
