I took a second look at my maunual and it says for the 2007 Sonata that gas of octain 87 or higher can be used. So i filled up with premium yesterday, and i’ll let you guys know if I notice any difference. Sure, you can use any grade gas but Hyundai sets the minimum when they state 87 octain.
