What to do when your dash lights dont work?
Make sure that when the headlights are on, that the tail lights are on (if tail lights are off, the the headlight stalk is bad)…. normally when the dash lights do not work, the headlight stalk has gone bad. There is a fix, but I found that it didn’t work well for me, and finally just changed the stalk.
Are there any running lights or dash lights?
Mine’s doing the same thing. I have headlights, but no corner lights, no marker lights, no tail lights, and no dash lights. Dimmer switch still turns on the dome light, but that’s it. Happened at 4:45 am on my way to work the other morning – I went to turn the dome light on and the switch pulled clear out of the dash and I lost all my lights.

Why does my car not light up when I Turn on the headlights?
when you turn on the headlights, if the dash lights and running lights (parking lights) do not come on then the issue is the headlight switch/stalk. This is simply a problem with the actual switch. The connections become corroded and u can either clean it by taking it apart yourself, or get someone to fix it.
