Are Ping s56 blades?
Yes they are Ping’s blades, but they are incredibly forgiving considering what you get (solid pure feeling with good contact piercing ball flight, terrific distance) & dont get (the massive soles, huge toplines, etc.) that you get with many of their other Ping offerings or most of the game improvement irons.
Are Ping s56 irons conforming?
They hit a little straighter than the s57 irons and feel a little softer, or at least the vibrations are dampened more by the new polymer tuning bar. Another improvement is the grooves, now conforming to the USGA competition groove rule.
What is ping red dot?
If a player orders a new set of irons and gets a red dot (1° flat) and after some body and swing changes now fits into black dot (standard), the clubs can be sent to Ping to be bent accordingly and they will color in the dot to represent the current lie. Not all clubs can be bent once they are built, however.
What Ping irons are forged?
Ping have made some brilliant irons over the years, but amazingly only three have ever been forged (the original Ping 69 and the Anser in 2010 and 2012).
