What is the difference between M Frame and M2 frame?
The M2 frame has an essentially straight stem that can keep the temples less bulky and fits better under helmets or straps. In Oakley M2 frames the bottom of the lenses has a higher cheekbone cut out when compared to the M frames. On the whole the M2 frames have a better fit than the original M frames.
How can you tell the difference between real Oakleys and fake Oakleys?
Oakley prescription sunglasses will come with the Oakley O etching on the lens by laser. However, non-prescription Oakley sunglasses with the ‘O’ etched on the lens are fake. Authentic Oakley PRIZM sunglasses will either feature ‘PRIZM’, ‘POLARIZED’, or ‘PRIZM P’ etched onto the lens.
Can you remove scratches from polarized sunglasses?
When fixing scratches on polarized plastic lenses; Use a thin coat of petroleum jelly or scratch removing polish onto the entire lens. One can also opt to use non-abrasive white toothpaste, car wax or furniture polishes. Rub the polish gently in a circular motion on the lens using a clean and dry microfiber cloth.
