Is Brompton logo a sticker?
Brompton replacement decal – standard – Black Self adhesive Brompton logo / decal sticker in black. This is the new 2016 logo with “BROMPTON” on both sides. It is now in 2 parts, but thanks to a removable adhesive backing is easier to fit.
How can you tell a fake Brompton?
Each Brompton leaves the factory with two numbers that uniquely identify your bicycle. These are the serial number and frame number. For all our bicycles manufactured since 2016, the serial number and the frame number appear together on the identification plate.

Generally they tend to hold their value. Do make sure you buy from a reliable source, as there is always the chance that a second hand Brompton has been stolen.
Is Brompton worth?
Brompton bikes are excellent in terms of build quality, folding design, and size. Their ride quality is also outstanding relative to their 16″ wheels, but of course they don’t ride like full-sized bicycles. Whether they’re worth buying is another matter, and that’s largely the point of this review.

How do I get sticker residue off my bike?
Apply nail polish remover and then scrape with a razor blade, or even try using just your fingernails. If you’re concerned about scratching your bike, you can also try rubbing vigorously with cotton balls instead. Or, try soaking a rag in the nail polish remover and then using that to soak the sticker as best you can.

Decals may be unwanted or can become damaged over time, In this case you’ll want to remove these without damaging your bike. You may be thinking about a re-spray and you’ll need to remove the decal first as part of your prep work.
What is so good about Brompton?
Brompton bikes are designed to fold away into a compact shape that makes them easy to carry, store or squeeze into the luggage rack on the train. This means you can still cycle pretty much anywhere, without having to argue with the bus driver or stand awkwardly into the end of the train carriage with a full-size bike.
Why are Brompton bikes so expensive?
Hand made in the UK and with very high resale value (which offsets a lot of the initial cost). Popularity also influenced by a much smaller, and more elegantly designed fold than the competitors (eg apparently they are the only folders allowed to be taken on the London underground).
