How do you attach a metal stud wall to a drop ceiling?
Insert the upper ends of each wall stud into the channel of the ceiling track. Use two, 3/4-inch self-tapping screws through each side of the track to secure metal studs in the channel. Use 1 1/4-inch self-tapping screws to secure wood studs in the channel.
