Can you run a cold air intake without a tune WRX?
Pretty much every air intake on the market for WRX’s or STI’s will require a tune to ensure they work properly. We highly recommend COBB’s SF air intake or AEM’s cold air intake for the 2008+ WRX and STI.

Do you need a tune after turbo inlet?
No need for a re-tune after the inlet (that is unless your stock one was pro-tuned with a ripped inlet). Also unless the cobb intake comes with a cold air box (I.E. filter is enclosed and the engine heat is blocked out) then don’t bother with a short ram air intake get a Cold Air Intake (CAI).
