How long is training for Citizens Advice?
6-12 months
You’ll receive support throughout your training and when you undertake your volunteer role. We find that most people complete the full adviser training in 6-12 months, although this will, of course, depend on how much time you are able to commit to it.

What does a Citizens Advice adviser do?
Advice giving Research and explore options and implications so that clients can make informed decisions. Act for the client where necessary by calculating, negotiating, drafting or writing letters and telephoning. Negotiate with third parties such as statutory and non-statutory bodies as appropriate.
