What causes car headlights to randomly turn on and flash?
The lights will not turn off when you attempt to turn them off either most of the time. Sometimes they just flash really fast and sometimes they just randomly turn on and off slowly. It causes the battery to die. The windshield wipers have also suddenly quit working, I’m not sure if that could be related or not. My car has 96000 miles.

What to do if your headlights Don’t Come On?
Leave the vehicle overnight to see if the lights come on. If not – progress! Re-install the DRL and headlight relays one at a time – install, leave overnight, check to see if the lights come on.
Why is my headlight flickering on and off?
