How do I reserve a seat on TGV?

How far in advance can you book TGV trains?
TGV tickets can usually be booked up to 90 days in advance. Journeys with a connection to a TGV train in France can usually be booked up to 90 days in advance but this can vary. Journeys connecting to Thalys trains to France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany usually go on sale 120 days in advance but this can vary.
How far in advance can you book French train tickets?

French train bookings now open up to 4 months ahead. You can’t book before reservations open. However, bookings for dates after the timetable change at midnight on the 2nd Saturday in December (including Christmas) usually only open around 15-18 October.
