Registered. I’ve seen this happen when a carb float valve sticks open and gas overflows into the air filter or cylinder where it migrates down into the crankcase oil. You may want to check the float and also the overflow tube to make sure it isn’t plugged up.

The reason I bought it was because the original one was leaking gas out the overflow. I put a couple of floats and needle valve in it, polished the seat, and still couldn’t get the thing to stop draining gas. Now I have the same problem with the new carb.
