Is The Last Guardian worth it?
In terms of recommending this to anyone though, if you loved Ico and Shadow of the Colossus then you should absolutely play The Last Guardian. While it is not as good as the prior games, it is still worth investing your time on. The game has issues but if you persevere it’s worth it.

Why does Trico eat barrels?
Trico seems unwilling or maybe unable to find food for itself, thus relying on the Boy to procure the barrels for it. On finding the objects, the Boy must pick them up and carry them back to Trico one at a time. The Boy can also throw it the barrel where, most of the time, Trico will catch and eat it.
