Are visitors allowed in Auroville?
Auroville will reopen the Visitors’ Centre and the Matrimandir viewing point to the public on the basis of online booking for day visits. The universal township had remained closed to the public since the lockdown due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in March last year.

Take a local train from Park Town Station which is walking distance from Central Station for Guindi. Get down at Guindi Station and take a bus for Pondicherry from across the road. Ask the driver to drop you at the Auroville junction on the ECR Road. Take a bus for Pondicherry from across the road.
