What is the difference between FSR and GFA?
The numbers in the ratio are separated by a colon (eg 1:1). FSR is the comparison of the gross floor area (GFA) of a building to the size of the land. For example, a building with a GFA of 250m2 on a property of 1000m2 will have an FSR of 250:1000. In the example the house has a GFA of 240m2 on an 800m2 block of land.
