Without reading codes you don’t know. If your lucky it’s just the 3rd gear solenoid. Or you are low on fluid. Since your bold enough to go to the dealership for service you should have them print out the code the transmission is providing and go from there.

out of nowhere the D/drive light started flashing. Took it out of gear to neutral, the nuetral light comes on but the D light is still flashing. Turned the engine off, started it back up and everything is back to normal. Normal for a month, then it happened again. Turned off the engine off, restarted and everything is back to normal.
