Welcome to the West Virginia Department of Education’s “WVLearns” web site. Via this gateway, the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) realizes its vision of creating and centralizing many learning options and resources for students, parents, teachers, school personnel and WVDE staff.

FULL-TIME VIRTUAL program — Funding for students in a full-time virtual school program is provided to the local school district through FTE monies. The local school system will pay $200 per student per semester for each student above 10 while state funds will be used to pay the remaining per student course cost.
