Does AAA do license renewals?
AAA cannot assist with driver’s license or ID services, including but not limited to driver’s license renewals, replacements, Real IDs and/or DMV printouts.
How do I register an out-of-state vehicle in California?
To register, head to the DMV and submit:
- A Completed Application for Title or Registration (Form REG 343).
- The Vehicle’s Out-of-State Title.
- The Vehicle’s Out-of-State Registration.
- Proof of Insurance.
- A Valid Smog Certificate.
- Payment for Fees (see “Fees” below).
Can you get ca REAL ID at AAA?
AAA members can now apply for their Real ID at select auto club locations, including one in San Diego, through a new pilot program in partnership with the Department of Motor Vehicles. To get the Real ID card through AAA, members will have to fill out the application and upload documents to the DMV’s Real ID website.

When is the Auto Club office in Los Angeles Open?
In addition to the Auto Club’s weekday DMV and regular service hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at all offices, 42 Auto Club offices throughout Southern California are also open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and can process DMV transactions on Saturdays as well. Members must use cash or check to pay for DMV services at the Auto Club offices.
